Welcome to Maritime Woodbridge 2020 Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September
Every other year Maritime Woodbridge celebrates Woodbridge’s maritime and riverside heritage from Anglo-Saxon times to the present day.The event is organised by and for the community. A central feature is that it is free (and fun) for visitors, but underpinned by the heritage we all share, and which still influences the town today.
This year there is a Boat Jumble on Sunday 3rd November at 9.00 a.m in the Longshed, Whisstock's Place
Visitors in previous years have commented on the friendly spirit of the event, created by the enthusiastic and voluntary involvement of so many different Woodbridge people, businesses, clubs and societies, led by a small working party of traditional boat enthusiasts. This made it truly a community effort.
“a really wonderful thing for Woodbridge” “so impressed with the response from the people” “really good to involve the town – pleased to be part of it “ “real community event that brought Woodbridge together” “An excellent and well organised event and much appreciated”
